He died early this morning at Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) after battling an undisclosed illness, according to family sources.
Omotoyosi, once hailed as a top striker for Niger’s national team, earned admiration during his active years by becoming the country’s highest goal scorer.
He was known not just for his incredible football prowess, but also for his vibrant, generous spirit.
However, life took a quieter turn after his retirement from professional football. Rasak lived away from the limelight, focusing on his family life with Bose Alao and their four children — including a set of twins.
