Brand Communicator’s Azeez Disu wins big at ADVAN 2019 awards

By Victor Ojelabi

The leading brand and communications magazine in Nigeria, Brand Communicator, has once again left other players in its dust as its Senior Reporter clinched the Brand Journalist of the Year at the Advertisers Association of Nigeria (ADVAN) awards recently held in Lagos.

Azeez Disu, the awardee, was recognised for his originality, consistency and dexterity in his writing skills on his platform over years.

The competitive annual ADVAN Awards for Marketing Excellence, which hit 9th edition this year, seeks to acknowledge and reward marketing professionals that have made outstanding contributions to the profession.

In a statement posted on his official social media platform, Azeez appreciated the publisher of the magazine and his other colleagues for their supports.

“I am grateful to God for this win.

“I am also grateful to Brand Communicator, the platform which I represent, thanks to my publisher Joshua Ajayi, and the team members for their supports,” he said.

The happy award winning wordsmith didn’t, however, forget to appreciate his family and friends for their belief in him through his journey into the world of journalism.

Brand Communicator, a bimonthly and the only consistent industry magazine representing the brand and marketing industry in Nigeria, is published by Awesome Communications Limited.

L-R: Assistant Manager, Business Development, Micheal Efengbe, Senior Reporter and award winner, Azeez Disu and Publisher/Editor-in-Chief, Joshua Ajayi, all of Brand Communicator magazine at the ADVAN Awards 2019 recently.
