The achievement occurred during Trench Symphony: The Dapper Live Experience in Lagos, where Dapson’s team orchestrated the largest live orchestra ever assembled for an Afrobeats concert.
Eighty-five musicians performed alongside top Afrobeats artistes, marking a historic milestone for the genre.
Sharing a video of the event, Hilda Baci reflected on the dedication, sacrifices, and relentless work behind the achievement.
“I’ve seen the work. The sleepless nights. The risks. The reinvesting. The belief when things weren’t always easy,” she wrote.
She described the moment as “incredibly special,” noting that what started as a vision for Trench Symphony had now become a Guinness World Record.
Hilda added, “I’m so proud of you. Proud of the resilience, the passion, and the way you continue to create platforms for talent and for the culture. Also… our kids will definitely hear this story one day. Record breaker daddy. Record breaker mummy.”
Dapson, who heads Dapper Records and the Dapper Group, has played a key role in shaping Nigeria’s music industry by providing platforms for emerging and established artists.
His label has supported rising stars, including Shallipopi, helping them gain prominence in the global Afrobeats scene.
