Despite ending the first half of Wednesday’s game goalless, City sprang back to life, opening the scoring on 50 minutes against West Ham at the Etihad Stadium.
Nathan Ake’s close-range header went low into the middle of the net to open the scoreline.
Twenty minutes later, Haaland scored his record-breaking goal to make it 2-0 for the Blues.
Phil. Foden’s shot moved past the helpless Lukasz Fabianski to make the scoreline 3-0 in favour of City.
With Haaland’s goal ratio of 1.26 per 90 minutes, there are chances that the 22-year-old has five league games remaining to extend the record-breaking tally.
