Manchester City have emerged the 2020/2021 English Premier League (EPL) champions — regaining their title from Liverpool to win the top flight for the third time in four years.
City won the league following Manchester United’s 2-1 defeat to Leicester on Tuesday evening.
Luke Thomas’ opener was cancelled by Mason Greenwood’s goal for Man United while Çağlar Söyüncü’s second-half header won the game for Leicester City and handed City an unassailable lead at the top with three games left to the end of the season.
The title is City’s fifth since the inception of the EPL in 1992.
