According to reports from Moscow, the incident occurred shortly after Nikki’s birthday when she allegedly discovered that Moumi had brought another woman to their shared apartment.
Shocked by the revelation, Nikki is said to have called the police and arrived at the residence with a friend to confront the player.
Witnesses claim that Moumi initially tried to prevent them from entering, insisting that his uncle was inside.
However, after resistance, the police intervened and forced entry, where they reportedly found another woman who appeared embarrassed and attempted to hide her face in footage circulating online.
Following the confrontation, Nikki reportedly packed her belongings and asked Moumi to vacate the apartment. The matter has since been formally reported to local authorities.
Neither the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) nor Moumi’s club, Dynamo Moscow, has issued an official statement regarding the Nicolas Moumi Ngamaleu scandal.
The timing of the incident comes just days before Cameroon’s crucial CAF World Cup Qualifier playoff against DR Congo on 13 November in Rabat, Morocco.
Despite the off-pitch turmoil, Moumi remains named in Rigobert Song’s squad for the decisive tie.
