Rite Foods wins four major sustainability awards in 2025, highlighting CSR, education, health initiatives, and supply chain excellence

Lagos, Nigeria – Rite Foods Limited, a leading Nigerian food and beverage company, has won four prestigious awards at the 2025 Social Impact and Sustainability Awards (SISA) and the SERAS Africa Sustainability Awards.

The accolades recognise the company’s commitment to corporate social responsibility, healthcare, education, and supply chain management.

The company won Best Health-Focused CSR Programme of the Year, Education Empowerment Champion of the Year, and CEO Champion of Corporate Responsibility at the SISA Awards.

At the SERAS Africa Sustainability Awards, Rite Foods was named Best in Supply Chain Management.

The ceremonies were held on 28 and 29 November 2025 at the MUSON Centre and the Oriental Hotel, Lagos, respectively.

Ekuma Eze, Head of Corporate Affairs & Sustainability at Rite Foods, expressed gratitude for the recognition, emphasising that the awards reflect the company’s focus on embedding people, planet, and purpose in its operations through the EYEC framework: Environmental Stewardship, Youth Empowerment, Education, and Community Development.

The awards highlight Rite Foods’ innovative culture and consumer-centric approach, spanning its extensive product portfolio, including 13 Bigi Carbonated Soft Drinks variants, Bigi Table Water, Sosa Fruit Drink, Fearless Energy Drink, and the newly introduced Bigi Flex, Rite Spicy Beef, and Bigi Beef Sausage Rolls, all produced in state-of-the-art facilities.

Eche Munonye, presenting the CEO Champion of Corporate Responsibility award, praised Managing Director and CEO Seleem Adegunwa for his dedication to sustainability initiatives and impactful social interventions.
