The senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District and former governor of the state, His Excellency, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, FNSE, FAEng, has been ranked as one of the most active lawmakers in the month of July.

This comes weeks after he was sworn in alongside other lawmakers into the 10th Senate.

His activity and passion, fueled by his love and concern for the people, have been duly noted by political observers, including the legislative press.

Otunba Daniel is indeed deserving of this recognition, as his work speaks for itself.

One of his notable achievements as a legislator includes direct intervention in the Ogun East Senatorial District, providing no-interest business loans to over 800 businesses across the district.

Furthermore, he has actively participated in grassroots development through his unwavering support for motions that will improve the lives of Nigerians.

Otunba Daniel’s sponsored Southwest Development Commission bill passed first reading. The bill seeks to establish a commission charged with the responsibility of receiving and managing funds from the federal government among other things.

It is believed that the establishment of this commission would guarantee funds for the development of the South-west region as a whole.
