Taking to Instagram, Shade tendered a heartfelt apology to Tiwa Savage over her reaction to the infamous leaked tape incident.

In a reflective and emotional statement, Shade admitted that her earlier judgment was both harsh and unfair. “I was one of the people who blasted Tiwa Savage when that s3x tape came out,” she confessed. “In hindsight, I wonder why I was blaming her so hard for something that happened to her.”

The Shade Ladipo Apology Tiwa Savage moment marks a rare case of public accountability in the media space. She acknowledged that her criticism was rooted in misplaced expectations, even pointing out their similar age as a factor that wrongly influenced her judgment.

“Cause we are mates and you’re still messing around with people like this,” she recalled saying. But now, she realizes the mistake of blaming the victim rather than offering empathy. “I felt her pain. And I just want to say to you, I love you. I’m sorry.”

Fans and social commentators have applauded the apology, noting that it’s never too late to own up to harmful behavior — especially when it affects others in vulnerable situations.
