Hon. Moji Meranda, the Chief Whip of the Lagos State House of Assembly, would be unveiling the nominees for the upcoming Nollywood industry awards event, Best of Nollywood Awards, BON Awards, which will be be taking place in Owerri, Imo State’s capital.

In a press statement to the media, the founder of the award, Seun Oloketuyi, the choice of Hon. Ojora comes natural as she fits the bill perfectly.

“While it is a honour for us as organisers to have Hon. Moji Ojora to unveil one of the most respected awards event in the Nollywood industry, we feel it is also a way of appreciating a woman of valour, who has done so much in politics and in her own little way, contributed to the growth of the Nigerian movie industry,” Oloketuyi explained.

BON Awards, which is in its 14th edition, had earlier announced the veteran Nollywood practitioner, Francis Onwochei, as the new head of the jury.

The nominees unveiling event would be held at the Class Suite Signatures by 6:00pm in the evening. The hotel is located on No. 17, Agbaoku Street, Opebi, Ikeja, Lagos.

The main event, BON Awards 2022, will be held at the International Conference Centre recently renovated by the state government on December 3, 2022.

“We’ve taken the 14th edition of the awards event a notch higher by ensuring that it’s at par with the best of what is obtainable in the world and it can only get better from here,” Oloketuyi disclosed.
