The Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria (AAAN) has announced that the agency would be hosting Trokya Holdings Limited CEO, Biodun Shobanjo, on this year’s LAIF&Direct chat.

Lanre Adisa, Ceo Noah’s Ark and Chairman LAIF management board, made the announcement stating: “30 years ago, I started my advertising career at MC&A: Saatchi & Saatchi, Troyka’s second line agency. Dr. Shobanjo was our Chairman. I feel highly privileged to have a LAIF&Direct chat with this rare business leader”.

The LAIF&Direct chat, an integral part of the LAIFfestival week, will hold on Friday 11th December; the LAIF awards, which has the theme “Grind and Shine”, will hold virtually on 12th December 2020.

Dr Biodun Shobanjo, who recently launched his biography – “The Will to Win”, has fostered protégés who have also become professionals in the advertising and marketing communications industry in Nigeria. As an advertising and marketing communications practitioner whose experience has spanned decades, Dr Shobanjo is also the CEO of The Apprentice Africa; a chartered member of the British Institute of Public relations; and a member of the British Institute of Marketing.

The Lagos Advertising and Ideas Festival (LAIF) is an annual event launched to celebrate ideas and reward creative excellence by professionals in advertising, media and marketing in a week-long program of activities.

Established in 2006, LAIF is organised by the Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria (AAAN) formerly known as Association of Advertising Practitioners of Nigeria (AAPN). The association is the regulatory body which coordinates and promotes the interest of all Advertising Agencies in Nigeria.
