‘Absolute nonsense!’ Emeka Rollas dragged for rejecting BBNaija evictees in movie industry

Nigerians have slammed actor and President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas, for rejecting BBNaija evictees in the movie industry, stating Nollywood should not be a dumping site for evictees.

This, however, came hours after the most talked about housemates, Boma and Tega who were caught under the sheet, were evicted last night on the BBNaija show. Although this is not the first time this would happen in an 18+rated show, the cause of controversy is that Tega, married with a child, committed an abominable act with Boma, stating she only acted based on the script.

Emeka, who felt displeased by this act, had taken to social media to reveal to his colleagues on the issue, as Tega would want to venture into acting in the Nigerian movie industry after her eviction.

He wrote:

Nollywood!

Not a dumping ground for evictees!!!!! Case closed

However, Nigerians have dragged him, stating Nollywood is not his personal property and should not decide who and who not to be in the movie industry, adding that some of the evictees are better than some Nigerian actors.

@segun_tekun wrote: Absolute nonsense. Are you saying people can no longer pursue their dreams because there were evicted from a show?

@netflix_suggestion_ wrote: Like the nollywood is your personal property abi? So because they are evictees if they have talent they should still be right off?
