Adron Homes & Properties has officially unveiled the 7th edition of the Adron Games, set to take place at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Ibadan, from November 29-30, 2024.

 

[dropcap]A[/dropcap]dron Homes & Properties has unveiled the 7th edition of its annual Adron Games, themed ‘Fit to Be the Biggest’, which will take place at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Ibadan, from November 29-30, 2024.

The event is expected to attract over 10,000 athletes and fitness enthusiasts from across Nigeria, solidifying its reputation as a national platform for promoting physical fitness, wellness, and community engagement through sports.

This year’s edition will feature various sporting disciplines, including football, basketball, volleyball, athletics, table tennis, snooker, shot put, long jump, E-sports, and Tug of War.

Nigerian football legends Daniel Amokachi and Mutiu Adepoju have been announced as ambassadors for the event, alongside Vanessa Jones and MC Relax.

Speaking at the unveiling, Amokachi emphasised the importance of corporate sponsorship in fostering young Nigerian talent, commending Adron Homes for its ongoing support of sports development.

“Organizations like Adron Homes are critical in nurturing the potential of our youth through their consistent support of sports,” he said. Adepoju praised the unifying power of sports, highlighting its role in promoting both physical and mental fitness, while also commending Adron Homes’ Group Managing Director, Aare Adetola Emmanuelking, for his continued commitment to organising the games.

“Sports is a powerful tool for unity and fitness, and Adron Games is a prime example of how sports can bring people together,” Adepoju remarked.

Since its inception, Adron Games has grown into a major national sporting event, bringing together thousands of athletes, corporate teams, and fitness enthusiasts from various regions and backgrounds.
