Adron Homes, in partnership with Pink Clinic, marks its fourth annual Breast Cancer Awareness event, offering free screenings and health guidance in Lagos.

[dropcap]A[/dropcap]dron Homes and Properties, a prominent Nigerian real estate company, has underscored its dedication to corporate social responsibility (CSR) with its fourth annual Breast Cancer Awareness and Screening Initiative, led by Vice Chairman Olori Aderonke Emmanuelking.

Held at the company’s Omole head office in Lagos, the event coincided with World Breast Cancer Month 2024 and was conducted in partnership with Pink Clinic.

The initiative provided hundreds of attendees with free screenings, educational workshops, and preventive health guidance. Olori Aderonke Emmanuelking opened the event with a message of solidarity, saying,

“Today, we remember all breast cancer warriors — those who have bravely fought, the survivors who inspire hope, and families who provide vital support.”

The theme of this year’s initiative, No One Should Face Breast Cancer Alone, reflects Adron Homes’ commitment to social impact through accessible healthcare initiatives.

Dr. Linda Keku, Chief Medical Director of Pink Clinic, commended Adron Homes for its ongoing support. “This campaign represents a crucial step in raising awareness.

Breast cancer affects both men and women, and early detection is key,” Dr. Keku stated, encouraging participants to seek medical advice at any sign of bodily changes.

The event included a Walk Against Breast Cancer, symbolising solidarity and raising funds for cancer research. Attendees received guidance on self-examinations, lifestyle choices, and cancer prevention, empowering them with practical knowledge to prioritise their health.

Dr. Keku and her team from Pink Clinic provided individual consultations and screenings to ensure everyone left with a deeper understanding of breast cancer prevention.

Olori Aderonke Emmanuelking highlighted the importance of a balanced lifestyle and self-awareness, urging attendees to avoid foods known to trigger cancer and to regularly perform self-exams.

She noted that Adron Homes’ partnership with Pink Clinic reflects the company’s commitment to making a positive, long-lasting impact on the communities it serves.

Through initiatives like these, Adron Homes continues to demonstrate its commitment to improving lives and promoting health awareness across Nigeria.

By investing in CSR programmes, the company aims to create a supportive environment that prioritises wellness and early detection as integral components of cancer prevention.
