The executive chairman of Ayobo Ipaja LCDA, Hon. Yusuf Sakiru Adisa, has again reiterated the need for residents to maintain good sanitation and desist from emptying wastes in road drainages.
He made this remark during his inspection visit to Aina Obembe Road, which is undergoing rehabilitation.
In a press statement signed by the council’s chief press secretary, Idris Bakare and made available to Freelanews, the chairman was full of gratitude to the Lagos State Government and the Public Works Corporation for heeding his call towards rehabilitating the road, which is a link road from Baruwa to Ayobo Road. He promised that other roads would equally be given attention before the end of the year.
“We can’t but appreciate the efforts of the state government for this rehabilitation. This will greatly reduce time being wasted in traffic and also decongest the Church Bus Stop roundabout,” he said.
Hon. Yusuf Sakiru Adisa, who was accompanied on the visit by the vice chairperson, Chief Mrs. Bola Shobowale, Supervisor for Works, Hon. Isa Lawal, his counterpart in Health, Hon. Fatai Garuba, Supervisor for Women Affairs, Alhaja Nurat Dauda and the House Committee Chairman on Works, Hon. Shola Dada, appealed to the good citizens of Ayobo Ipaja LCDA to be law abiding.
