His advice follows a tragic accident on Monday in Ogun State that claimed four lives and injured eight others. Fasaki recommended a rest period of 15 to 30 minutes after four hours of driving.
The accident, involving a Toyota Hiace bus on the Sagamu-Benin expressway, occurred around 2 p.m. and was attributed to driver fatigue.
The bus collided with a road divider, overturned, and caught fire. The injured were taken to the State Hospital in Ijebu-Ode, while the deceased were moved to the hospital’s morgue.
