Ronke Macaulay, CEO of Angel Works, recently shared a touching story on her Instagram account about a heartwarming act of kindness she experienced at a local M&S station branch.
While attempting to pay for her purchases, Ronke encountered a moment of embarrassment when her card was declined multiple times, and she couldn’t access her bank app.

In her Instagram post, she recounted how a young woman standing next to her stepped in without hesitation and used her phone to pay for the items on Ronke’s behalf.
The gesture was not only unexpected but deeply meaningful to her, who was moved by the stranger’s compassion and generosity.
“I was so choked, I could barely speak to say THANK YOU SO MUCH,” Ronke Macaulay expressed in the post.
The CEO of Angel Works went on to highlight the significance of such acts in today’s world, emphasising that genuine kindness and compassion still exist amidst daily challenges.
