In what can best be described as a rain of appointments, the respected strategist has continued to attract back-to-back selections for prestigious international jury and panel roles each one affirming his growing reputation as one of Africa’s most influential voices in marketing and communications.

Adding to this streak of global acknowledgments, Udoh has now been named a panelist at the upcoming 10th Nigeria Digital PR Summit, themed “Digital PR in Action: Owning Your Narrative, Telling Your Story.”

The landmark event, scheduled for October 15–16, 2025, at the Conference Centre, Naval Dockyard, Victoria Island, Lagos, will explore the future of narrative control and storytelling in an era shaped by digital transformation, disruption, and information complexity.

A Confluence of Thought Leaders

Organised by Upticomm Marketing in partnership with the Lagos State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), the 10th Nigeria Digital PR Summit marks a decade of thought leadership in digital communications.

It stands as sub-Saharan Africa’s premier platform for advancing digital PR innovation, influencer marketing, and strategic brand storytelling.

Anietie will join an elite faculty of industry leaders and communication experts, including Asmau Smaila, Associate Director of Sustainability at IHS Towers; Ken Egbas, Founder and CEO of TruCSR Consulting.

Others include: Prof. Adewale Obadare, Chief Visionary Officer, Digital Encode; Madu C. Chikwendu, Secretary General, Confederation of African Audiovisual Professionals (Ghana); Dr. Janet Adetu, CEO of JSK Consulting; and Ekundayo Ayeni, Chief Innovation Officer, BusinessPlus, among others.

A Season of Global Acknowledgments

Udoh’s inclusion in this year’s summit follows a wave of international recognitions that have positioned him among the most respected marketing minds globally.

Recently, he was appointed as a judge for the 2025 Digital Media Awards (DMA) Africa an honour that came shortly after his selection for the 2025 International ECHO Awards, International Content Marketing Awards, Effie Awards South Africa, AME Awards, and the PR Power List 2025, curated by GLG Communications and The Guardian Nigeria.

According to the DMA Committee Chairperson, Brian Njagi, Udoh’s contribution to the global marketing community is “invaluable,” reflecting both expertise and dedication to advancing the industry.

Elevating Nigerian Excellence on the Global Stage

Over the years, Anietie has become a symbol of Nigerian excellence in the global marketing arena.
His role as Grand Jury Member for the 2025 AME Awards and Juror for the 9th Native Advertising Awards in Copenhagen reinforces his global stature.

He also emerged as the only African finalist for the “Native Advertising Marketer of the Year” awardstanding shoulder-to-shoulder with international industry figures such as Becky Vinter of Business Insider and David Lennon of Fortune Brand Studio.

At MARKETING EDGE, Udoh has been instrumental in strengthening Nigeria’s visibility on the international scene.

He has led delegations to major global creative festivals, including the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in France and the New York Festivals International Advertising Awards, both of which have helped showcase the creative depth and strategic brilliance of Nigerian brands and agencies.

Championing Narrative Ownership and Storytelling Excellence

The forthcoming Nigeria Digital PR Summit aims to empower participants with practical insights on how to own their narratives and build meaningful connections in today’s digital ecosystem.

With Anietie’s unmatched depth in marketing strategy, storytelling, and integrated communications, his contribution is expected to enrich discussions and inspire both emerging and established professionals.

The event will also feature prominent speakers such as Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, Dr. Bosun Tijani as well as the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Digital and New Media, O’tega Ogra.

In addition, it includes the Vice President, Chain Reactions Africa, Frankline Ozekhome; and Segun Ogunleye, Head of Marketing, Diageo Africa Partner Markets (SOWECA), among others.

A Passionate Leader and Industry Builder

Mr. Udoh, who leads the MARKETING EDGE team, is a passionate and result-oriented marketing and editorial professional of many years.

Over the years, he heads MARKETING EDGE’s marketing department and special projects development.
At the same time, he plays a supervisory role over other aspects of the magazine’s operations, including the editorial department.

A graduate of the prestigious University of Lagos, he has consistently demonstrated leadership, excellence, and innovation throughout his career.

Beyond his editorial and marketing responsibilities, Udoh has represented MARKETING EDGE at several global award events.

Impressively, the list include the last two editions of the Loeries held in Durban, South Africa.
His leadership has also been pivotal in MARKETING EDGE’s strategic partnerships with international creative platforms.

The publication’s collaboration with the New York Festivals reinforces its rising global influence and brand equity growth.

As part of this partnership, MARKETING EDGE continues to drive awareness for the award in Nigeria by providing consistent coverage before, during, and after the event.

He does this by ensuring that Nigerian players in the Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) sector remain globally visible and competitive.

A Symbol of Consistency and Industry Leadership

Furthermore, from his early days as a journalist and PR practitioner to his current role as a global marketing thought leader, Anietie Udoh has built an enviable legacy of excellence, vision, and influence.

As a result, his consistent rise and international recognition reflect not only his mastery of strategy and storytelling but also the confidence the industry has in his expertise.

Therefore, as he joins other top minds at the 10th Nigeria Digital PR Summit, Anietie Udoh continues his winning streak one that symbolises brilliance, creativity, and leadership.
