An 18-year-old Nigerian Lady, Deborah Idumu has graduated as a Software Engineer with an outstanding first-class grade point.

Deborah who recently graduated from Babcock University, South-West, Nigeria as the best student in her set took to her LinkedIn profile to celebrate her success.

“B.Sc (hons) Software Engineering, First class honours, Best graduating student in Software Engineering,” she wrote on LinkedIn.

She explained further that not only does she have an outstanding academic performance, but she also served as the Director of welfare services during her time as a student of the institution.

Software Engineering is currently one of the fastest-growing academic programs in the world.

In a similar development, a brilliant Nigerian lady named Obianuju Okafor became a scholar in Software Engineering after bagging her Master’s and PhD degrees from the University of North Texas, Texas, United States with a 100% grade point.

She had her Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering from the Eastern Mediterranean University in Northern Cyprus.

She proceeded to the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas, United States to further her education. In 2017, she started her Master’s degree program in Computer Engineering and graduated with distinction, scoring all the available 4.00 points.

Obianuju Okafor immediately commenced her Ph.D. at the same university and by 2022, she bagged a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science scoring all the available 4.00-grade points again.

“One of my biggest motivation is that I wanted other young girls that look just like me to see me and feel like they can do it too! I hope they feel properly represented. This journey has come to an end and I’m looking forward to what the future holds,” she wrote.
