According to the reports, late singer Nomoreloss’ widow, OAP Adeola Osinuga, popularly known as Phoenix had been pronounced dead.

Adeola Osinuga was said to have given up the ghost on Friday, July 24, 2020, after a long battle with fribromyalgia.

Phoenix lost her husband on March 21 2016. A year after, she went public with her struggle with fibromyalgia.

Adeola Osinuga’s death came after the entertainment industry lost seasoned broadcaster Emmanuella Pobeni Adepoju popularly known as Iya Jogbo.

The popular media personality, a former employee of Rhythm 93.7 FM, Lagos had been suffering from fibromyalgia for a long time now.

The ailment had seen her go ‘in and out’ of the hospital for several months.

Fibromyalgia is a rheumatic condition characterised by muscular or musculoskeletal pain with stiffness and localised tenderness at specific points on the body.

Phoenix first shared the news with her Instagram followers in 2017 along with images of herself on a hospital bed. She wrote,

“I can almost open my own pharmacy at this rate. Sometimes, you need painkillers for the pain caused by going to the hospital for painkillers. (Sigh) when I think about the amount of chocolates I could buy with this money instead of buying medicine.”

Phoenix and Nomoreloss wedded in 2008 and welcomed a daughter, Mo, in 2011.

She also had a teenage son from a previous relationship.

RIP.
