The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) clarified that these companies had no valid registration certificate (RC) numbers.
In a public statement, CAC warned that “the names and the RC numbers have been removed from the Database.
Members of the general public are enjoined to disregard any claim to their existence as legal persons or claims to rights and obligations founded on their existence.”
This action aims to safeguard the public and businesses from fraudulent claims by entities posing as legitimate companies.
The commission emphasized that no RC numbers were ever assigned to the removed entities.
The CAC urged all stakeholders to verify company registration before entering into agreements or transactions.\
