Caleb Adeoga inducted as Designate Compliance Professional by CIN, strengthening his role in governance, transparency, and ethical leadership
[dropcap]C[/dropcap]aleb Adeoga achieved a significant milestone in his career on Saturday, 7 December 2024, as he was officially inducted as a Designate Compliance Professional (DCP) by the Compliance Institute Nigeria (CIN).The prestigious ceremony saw Adeoga join a select group of professionals dedicated to upholding ethical standards in compliance and governance.
This honour placed him alongside notable public figures who received Honorary Fellowships during the event.
These included Dr Abdullahi Usman Bello, Chairman of the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB); Dr Aminu Maida, Executive Chair and CEO of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC); Hajia Hafsat Abubakar Bakari, CEO of the Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit (NFIU); Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN, President of the Nigerian Bar Association; Mr Olanipekun Olukoyede, Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC); and Dr Lanre Olasunkanmi Musibau, Registrar and CEO of ICAN.
Adeoga expressed deep humility in being recognised among such esteemed personalities, while describing the achievement as a testament to his commitment to fostering governance, accountability, and transparency—values crucial to building trust and institutional growth.
In his words, he highlighted how the DCP certification had deepened his expertise in critical areas such as Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Countering the Financing of Terrorism (CFT), Countering Proliferation Financing (CPF), and Corporate Governance.
“These skills are essential for ensuring sustainable development and aligning with global compliance standards.”
With this recognition, Adeoga is poised to champion compliance as a cornerstone of effective policymaking and governance.
