The champions league group stage draw is set as football clubs will compete in the second best European football competition in a brawl of the fittest.

European giants are to lock horns as last season finalists Man city and semi-finalists PSG, who just acquired the signing of arguably one of the greatest footballer ever in Lionel Messi and summer signings tipped to be the best bargains in football history will encounter once again but this time in the group stage.

ucl GROUP STAGE DRAW

Defending champions and Super cup winners, Chelsea are paired with Christiano Ronaldo’s side Juventus as well as Zenith and Malmo, with the Seria-A side only the tough competition to the English team, the group stage should be a walk in the park for the current champions.

The highlight of the group stage draw is the collision of two giant clubs in Bayern Munich and Barcelona bringing to remembrance the devastating result to the Catalonia side in just about a year ago in a 8-2 thumping win for the Germans in a run that ended with the competition glory in 19/20 lock down season.

Real Madrid and Inter Milan are placed in the same group for the second year in a row as Manchester United are paired with last season Europa league co-finalists, Villarreal, in a game that didn’t end well for the Red devils as they lost 10-11 on penalties to the Spanish team.

Liverpool will lock horns with Atletico Madrid and others as the Champions league for 2021/22 season promises to be a mouth watering encounter.

It is difficult to say who would come out as champions in the elite league as different predictions are tossed here and there with PSG the French side tipped to bag their first champion league glory due to the addition of Lionel Messi to their squad as they are poised to achieve their all time goal as champions league winners.

Bayern Munich comes next as possible club to overthrow the defending champions, Chelsea who follow in the prediction order to defend their second champions league title win in the club’s history.

The competition will commence later in December as various league outings continues.
