The controversial activist, Charly Boy, has taken a swipe at the Yoruba tribe in Nigeria while questioning their supports for the winner of the last presidential election, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Area Fada, as he’s popularly called, took to his official Twitter handle to rain insults on the Yoruba and wondered if the efforts of a late Yoruba leader and national hero, Chief Obafemi Awolowo’s free education was all in vain.
Chief Awolowo was the leader of Nigeria’s Action Group party and the first indigenous premier of Western Nigeria. He campaigned heavily for developmental change and implemented free primary education and child healthcare policies across the western region.
