The Ibom Air passenger shared the clarification on her Instagram story on Saturday, addressing claims that she filed the lawsuit through lawyer Ayodele Ademiluyi.
Comfort Emmanson emphasized that she is yet to initiate any legal action against the federal government or Ibom Air.
She assured the public that any lawsuit she eventually files will be officially announced through her own channels.
“My attention has been drawn to a fake report claiming that I have filed a N500 billion lawsuit against the Federal Government, NCAA, and others.
This information is false and misleading. I have not taken any such legal action yet,” Emmanson said.
She further clarified that her current legal representative is Adam Atakpa of Kippraise Attorneys, urging the public to disregard misleading reports.
The controversy surrounding Comfort Emmanson arose after her unruly behaviour on an Ibom Air flight led to her temporary detention.
