Cristiano Ronaldo scores his 949th career goal as Al Nassr thrash Al Fateh 5–1 in the Saudi Pro League, edging closer to the historic 1,000-goal mark

Cristiano Ronaldo continued his breathtaking form on Saturday, scoring his 949th career goal as Al Nassr stormed to a commanding 5–1 win over Al Fateh in the Saudi Pro League.

The Portuguese legend found the net with a spectacular strike in the 60th minute, just moments after missing a penalty, reaffirming his reputation for mental strength and unrelenting determination.

Ronaldo’s goal adds to his ever-growing tally as he inches closer to a historic 1,000-goal milestone—a record no male footballer has ever achieved.

His compatriot Joao Felix was also in blistering form, netting a hat-trick, while Kingsley Coman sealed the win with a well-taken second-half goal.

The result sends Al Nassr four points clear at the top of the Saudi Pro League table, maintaining their dominance in the title race.

Ronaldo’s consistency this season has been nothing short of phenomenal. Despite turning 40 next year, his hunger for goals and his elite-level performances remain a powerful reminder of his longevity and class.

Al Nassr will next face Goa in the AFC Cup on Wednesday, where Ronaldo will look to add yet another chapter to his extraordinary career.
