The annual awards ceremony, celebrating outstanding musical talents across Nigeria and Africa, drew an impressive crowd of top artists, industry leaders, and notable figures.

However, a viral video circulating online captured Cubana Chief Priest in a tense exchange with security personnel at the entrance, after allegedly being refused access.

Moments like this show that recognition in the music industry must be earned, not assumed,” said an anonymous industry insider.

Despite visible efforts to gain entry, sources close to the event claim that Cubana Chief Priest was ultimately unable to join the festivities inside the hall.

Social media quickly buzzed with reactions, with many users speculating that the musician might not have been officially invited to the event.

One user commented, “It’s very clear he wasn’t invited,”
