The album dropped in the early hours of April 18, 2025, and has already taken the streaming world by storm, currently ranking Number 1 on Apple Music Charts.

The release was confirmed via Davido’s label, 30BG Official, which posted: “Officially 5 album is out on all platforms. Thank you Davido for this masterpiece.”

5ive features a global roster of artists including Victoria Monét, Shenseea, 450, Victony, Musa Keys, Chris Brown, Becky G, Odumodublvck, Chike, Omah Lay, Tayc, and Dadju.

The album contains 17 tracks, blending Afrobeats, R&B, dancehall, and highlife influences in a rich sonic tapestry that has been widely praised as a landmark achievement for the genre.

While Davido has yet to post about the release on his personal social media handles, he recently revealed that he co-produced several tracks on the album — a creative move that has excited fans and critics alike.

The release also follows news of Davido’s new partnership with PlayStation on a special PS5 collaboration, marking another bold step in the artist’s cross-industry presence.
