It is true that there have been conflict with the way skills and education are handled far and wide in Africa, especially in Nigeria. The leaders and elders of the upcoming generation necessitates the need for education so much that it kills the skills in their children. This issue has a lot of views and opinions but we should focus on what is really bringing out the ‘you’ in our future leaders.
Skills are learnt, acquired and gained to be able to impact but the real expression of skill is regularity and frequency involved to produce something, that fascinates such a person
Education as taken away what aids the embodiment of skill acquisition in Nigeria, talents, dreams and passion are being wasted when parents main concern is education instead of nurturing their kids talents into skills then productivity.
Thanks to the Nigerian government’s wake from it’s slumber as centers and skill acquisition schools are built to encourage youths towards skill acquiring.
In this fast developing world it would be necessarily important that people, children and even adults focus on skill acquiring because the future requires it.
As we all know, adulthood is a scam. We all got so busy so fast that we are still wondering what exactly life’s agenda is. If some of us could rewind time, we will go back to the days when all we did was play. TECNO’s CAMission created an avenue for adults to play! The show brought Venita, Bisola Aiyeola, Broda Shaggy, Denola Grey together and went the route very few have tread. With a “Heroes Past” theme, they dressed up these celebrities as our favourite heroes from the past. It was such an experience watching it all unwrap live on Africa Magic Urban.

TECNO’s CAMission is a reality competition in which the company invites young photographers to submit innovative submissions using TECNO phones. The most imaginative entries are chosen and brought to a camp where they are assigned a series of assignments.
A lucky victor, or four in this case, will emerge at the end of the boot camp experience.
With this project, TECNO hopes to provide a platform for young photographers to develop into professionals with abilities that will be profitable and influential to the world at large.
Things started to become intriguing this season right away. The hosts are Linda Osifo and Efa Iwara, the judges are Kemi Adetiba, Kelechi Amadi-Obi, and Kunle Afolayan, and the teams that the competitors were divided into were led by Venita, Bisola, Broda Shaggi, and Denola Grey.
The show was graced with the amazing photography skills of the contestants from the beginning, exhibited through the various daily tasks. From portraits of the celebrity team leads during the ‘Heroes Past task’, to unique scenery photos using the landscape and micro features, amongst others, of the CAMON 17, it has definitely been a worthwhile journey.
It’s safe to say that the contestants are well on their way to becoming professionals with the amazing images that we’ve seen so far.
It’s just been 3 episodes, but the fun has been off the chart. Between the daring missions and the energy and play the celebrities freely bring to the mix.
The show airs live on Africa Magic Urban on Saturday at 6:30pm!
