In a spirited video shared on Tuesday morning, the 83-year-old icon delivered a lively musical performance, blending Yoruba, English, and Pidgin, to dismiss the viral hoax.

“Satan, you don lose o, you don pafuka. Na lie lie you dey talk!” sang Obey-Fabiyi in the video, reinforcing his message that reports of his passing were entirely fabricated.

Addressing the public, the music legend declared, “It is fake news that started a few hours ago claiming that I, Evangelist Obey, have passed on to glory. It is a lie. I am alive, and that is not the word Jesus has written.”
