In a move aimed at enhancing efficiency in the state civil service, Governor Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State has sanctioned the appointment of four new Permanent Secretaries. These appointments come in the wake of rigorous assessments held to ensure the selection of the most qualified candidates, adhering strictly to the administration’s merit-based policies.
The newly appointed Permanent Secretaries, Mrs. Janet Funke Ajibola, Mr. Michael Sunday Boluwade, Mr. Foluso Ebenezer Akinwumi, and Mr. Rotimi Gabriel Akomolede, distinguished themselves through exceptional performance in examinations and interviews conducted on June 27, 2023, and October 18, 2023. Their selection underscores the commitment of the state government to fostering professionalism and competence within the civil service.
