EFCC Ilorin arrests 28 suspects in a cybercrime raid across Kwara State, seizing cars, laptops and phones as investigations continue

According to reliable sources within the anti-graft agency, the suspects were apprehended on Tuesday at Tanke, University Road, Oshin, and Agbabiaka, all in Ilorin.

The arrests were said to have been based on credible intelligence linking the individuals to cybercrime activities.

During the operation, EFCC Ilorin operatives recovered seven exotic cars, including a latest model Toyota Corolla and a Lexus, alongside two motorcycles.

Also seized were expensive phones and laptops believed to have been used as tools for online fraud.

The agency has confirmed that investigations are ongoing and that the suspects will be arraigned in court once the process is concluded.

The crackdown underscores EFCC Ilorin’s determination to curb cybercrime and restore confidence in Nigeria’s digital and economic space.
