Former Manchester United head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a candidate to take the vacant manager’s job at Leicester City, with the Foxes hoping to make an appointment in the near future.

Leicester were relegated from the Premier League on the final day of the 2022/23 season.
Their interim manager Dean Smith is unlikely to stay on as manager.
Leicester is also thought to be considering the likes of Scott Parker and Enzo Maresca to become the club’s next manager.
But according to the Daily Mail, there is ‘some support’ for Solskjaer from Leicester’s hierarchy for the Norwegian to take charge at the King Power Stadium.
Solskjaer has been out of work since leaving Manchester United in November 2021.
