Steve Babaeko, the CEO and Chief Creative Officer of X3M Ideas, has been named one of the personalities that are part of the Grand and Executive Jury panels in the Lisbon International Advertising Festival 2020. Babaeko was also part of the Jury panels during the 2019 Festival.

According to a statement by the festival organisers, every submitted work will be assessed at two different stages by two world-class jury panels, firstly through a Grand Jury, composed by top personalities from the world of advertising, design, public relations and media planning, from all around the globe. The Grand Jury is also responsible for delivering the “Local Lisbons”, which through Bronze, Silver and Gold Medals recognise the highest scoring works in each region.

“After the Grand Jury selects the shortlist in each category, these works will be voted in Lisbon, by our Executive Jury, composed of global influential professionals within the creativity world, who decide the trophies that each work deserves,” the statement said.

Commenting on his LinkedIn page, Babaeko said: “Looking forward to judging at the Lisbon Ad Festival 2020.”

Steve Babaeko founded in 2012 X3M Ideas Group and has become the yardstick for a new generation of Nigerian creative entrepreneurs. Before starting X3M, which has now grown to include X3M Music, and Zero Degrees Productions, Steve was the creative director at 141 Worldwide. Over there, he sparked the fire of creativity that made that agency the trendiest for many years. For more than 23 years, he has been helping to create some of the most iconic marketing works on the African continent.

The Lisbon International Advertising Festival was created in 2016 and is one of the most exclusive worldwide festivals in advertising. Recognised internationally by the quality of its jury members and speakers, it has gained such importance that is already considered one of the most prestigious advertising awards in the world by many advertising industry personalities.
