On July 19, 2024, the final remains of the late Mr. Solomon Akinola Akinluyi were laid to rest in a solemn ceremony that brought together family, friends, and well-wishers.

The funeral service itself took place at The Redeemed Christian Church of God (House of Prayer), Giwa, in Ogun State.

A reception followed the burial at County Event Place, where a large turnout of family and friends came together to celebrate the life of Mr. Akinluyi.

Mr. Solomon Akinola Akinluyi is survived by his wife, children, and grandchildren.
He was also the father-in-law of Senior Evangelist Tosin Lanre-Akinnuoye, the General Secretary III of the Celestial Church of Christ King of Kings Cathedral.
The family expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support and love from all who attended and those who sent their condolences from afar.
The passing of Mr. Akinluyi marks the end of an era for his family, but his legacy lives on in the memories and hearts of those he touched.
