Spearheaded by entrepreneur and philanthropist HM Queen Wa Arian Simone, the initiative was formally launched on 22 September 2025 at the Glasshouse Chelsea, bringing together over 150 influential voices from around the world.
Themed “Designing the Future of Global Black Power,” the launch event positioned the Fearless Global Initiative (FGI) as a pivotal force for building economic inclusion and sustainable empowerment across Black communities worldwide.
From policymakers to cultural icons, the gathering sparked high-level conversations aimed at creating a 100-year blueprint for global transformation.
“FGI is where the follow-through finally happens,” Queen Wa Arian Simone declared during her keynote.
“For too long, we’ve discussed equity without building the systems to sustain it. Today marks the beginning of shaping the next century of global Black economic power.”
Among the high-profile speakers were CNN’s Abby Phillips, U.S. Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett, civil rights attorney Ben Crump, Liberian Foreign Minister Sara Beysolow Nyanti, and UNHCR ambassador Kat Graham.
The agenda featured visionary sessions such as “What Can I Do for You? What Can You Do for Me?”—a critical exploration of the evolving relationship between Africa and Black America—and “The 100-Year Plan,” a collaborative effort to map out long-term cultural, political, and economic progress.
Kat Graham’s fireside chat spotlighted the role of storytelling in advancing economic growth, while a cultural installation by renowned Nigerian artist Laolu Senbanjo brought Yoruba symbolism into the centre of the conversation, merging heritage with futuristic thinking.
Positioning itself as a continuation of the unfinished work of the civil rights movement, Fearless Global Initiative echoes Malcolm X’s call to view civil rights through a human rights lens.
With this launch, FGI pledges to move from talk to transformative action—focusing not only on equity but on the infrastructure required to sustain it for generations to come.

As the global spotlight continues to shine on inclusion and representation, the Fearless Global Initiative stands as a visionary power move toward rewriting the narrative of global Black economic leadership—bold, unapologetic, and long overdue.
