Female Rapper Deela, friends rock the mic at her Lagos ‘Kini big Deela show’ (Photos)

As the sun set over the bustling streets of Lagos, the Live Lounge VI on Idejo Street transformed into a pulsating heart of music and culture. On the night of Saturday, 4th May 2024 the anticipation was evident for Deela’s Lagos Showcase – KINI BIG DEELA?

The event, powered by Inspiro Production, promised an evening of raw energy, unforgettable beats, and the magnetic charm of British-Nigerian rap sensation, Deela, and boy did she deliver.

The venue was a tapestry of vibrant colors and sounds, as guests trickled in in their various groups in anticipation of what was in store for them. The media was amply represented and people took their turn on the red carpet area to interact and take pictures before the show.

As the DJs took to the stage, the atmosphere started to electrify as each one of them started spinning a web of classic hits infusing the air with house, afro-beats, trap, hip-hop, and more that got the audience swaying to the music. DJS Kahalari. DoghouseTV, St TAJ, and Mooney all showed form with their signature mixes, echoing the soul of Lagos and keeping the energy high ensuring that the vibe never dipped.

The crescendo of the night however was without a doubt Deela’s performance. The young dynamic female rapper took to the stage with the confidence of a seasoned artist in a male-dominated genre, her assertive lyrics and captivating cadence holding the audience spellbound and vibing along.

Her tracks, a unique blend of trap and hip-hop, were a homage to her Lagos roots and the diverse musical influences that have shaped her sound. With each song, Deela took all deeper into her world, her lyrics delivered with precision as she painted vivid pictures of life, love, and the hustle, resonating with fans on a different level.

The performance of her hit song “LAGOS.” alongside Somadina, delivered verses that resonated with the spirit of the city and got the audience roaring. It was a moment of connection, a shared experience between the artist and her fans, celebrating the city that never sleeps.

The Kini Big Deela Show wasn’t just about the music, it was about the experience. The Live Lounge VI Lagos provided the perfect backdrop, with its intimate setting and state-of-the-art sound system ensuring every beat hit like a thunderclap, and every lyric reverberating with the audience.

Dignitaries that graced the occasion included Prof. Bobby Moroe (SA Consul General), Mr. & Mrs. Pretty Okafor (The PMAN president and his wife), DJ Roland (Chairman Of DJAN Lagos), Maurizo Ferri (Italian Embassy Trade Representative), Michael Parish (Nollywood Travel Film Festival), Mr. Sola Aiyepekun (Executive Chairman Lagos State Sports Commission), Mr. & Mrs. Oni (Della’s parents) amongst others.

As the night drew to a close, there was a collective feeling of satisfaction and fulfillment. Della’s Lagos Showcase – Kini Big Deela was a success, a testament to the power of music to connect, an experience that would be remembered for a long time because when Deela takes the stage, it’s not just a performance; it’s a movement.
