Femi Adepoju mourns his mother’s passing at over 90 years, vowing to protect her legacy while friends pour in condolences globally

 

[dropcap]F[/dropcap]emi Adepoju, former Special Assistant on Media to ex-Governor Olusegun Mimiko of Ondo State, and his brother, Oluwole Adepoju, are mourning the loss of their beloved mother, who passed away on Wednesday, 8 January 2025.

Sources revealed that the matriarch, aged over 90, peacefully departed in her sleep, leaving behind a legacy of love and wisdom cherished by her family and community.

Condolences have been pouring in from friends and associates worldwide, highlighting the profound impact of the Adepoju family.

Femi Adepoju, a journalist turned preacher known for his quiet lifestyle, expressed that his mother’s passing has left a “sour taste” in his heart.

However, he remains committed to honouring her memory and upholding the values she instilled in him.

Details of the burial arrangements are yet to be announced, but it is expected that friends and associates will join the Adepoju family in paying their final respects to a woman who lived a long, impactful life.
