Senator Rochas Okorocha’s son-in-law, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, who was arrested during a church service at St Peter’s Anglican Church Umunwokwe Village Eziama-Obaire Nkwerre LGA of Imo State, has been released unconditionally.
The Action Alliance (AA) governorship candidate for 2019 did not spend a night in jail.
“I have spoken with him, and he extended his greetings to all of us out there,” said Nwadike Chikezie, Special Adviser Media to Ugwumba Uche Nwosu.
“While we await the outcome of the police investigation into why he was abducted and arrested, we urge everyone to remain calm and focused because God is in complete control of the situation.”
“The act of desecrating the House of God, as we all know, is a direct affront and challenge to God Almighty,” the release continued.
We leave God to fight his battle because vengeance belongs to God, but does this mean that the government no longer respects God and that the House of God is no longer a safe haven for Christians?
“May God validate your responses.”
Remember how security operatives swooped on Nwosu inside the church during his mother’s funeral outing service and whisked him away amid irregular shooting?
