One of the leading governorship aspirants in the April 2024 Ondo APC primaries, Engr. Funmilayo Waheed-Adekojo, popularly known as Funmi Ayinke, has expressed her support for Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, the party’s flagbearer.

In a post shared on her Facebook page on Saturday, 12 October, Funmi Ayinke commended Aiyedatiwa’s exceptional leadership and compassionate approach to governance.
In her message, she described the governor as a selfless leader with a genuine concern for the people of Ondo State.
“Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has unequivocally demonstrated exceptional leadership skills, a compassionate heart, and a genuine concern for the people,” she wrote.
She further praised Aiyedatiwa’s collaborative approach, which she believes fosters unity and progress in the state.
Funmi Ayinke called on the people of Ondo State to unite behind the governor in the upcoming gubernatorial election, emphasising that together they can build a better future for the state.
“Let’s unite and wholeheartedly support him in the upcoming Gubernatorial election in Ondo State. Together we shall stand,” she concluded.
