Pink Awards, an initiative of La Veronica magazine, marked three years of celebrating hard work, diligence and selfless contributions of eminent personalities around the globe towards the cause of humanity.
According to the publisher of the magazine, Veronica Isioma Okei, the award is to reward the spirit of perseverance of Nigerians within and outside the shores of the country.
“Pink Awards is to celebrate worthy ambassadors of the country in different fields of life,” she said.
This year’s edition was well attended by notable Nigerians across the country. Foremost on the list was the first lady of Akwa Ibom, Deaconess Martha Emmanuel Udom, president of Women Arise, Dr. Joe Okei-Odumakin, Chairman of Ubong King Foundation, Dr. Ubong King and the event was hosted by the Gbenga Adeyinka the 1st.
The awardees include Sir Shina Peters, Sheik Jamiu Sanusi, Frederick Leonard, Iyabo Ojo amongst others.
