Glo Play Up lets Nigerians pick lucky numbers to win up to ₦10 million monthly in Globacom’s new lottery service

Glo Play Up has been unveiled by telecoms giant Globacom as an exciting new lottery service designed to turn everyday number picks into life-changing cash prizes.

The innovative game allows Nigerians to choose a lucky digit between 1 and 9 for a chance to win millions of naira, combining simplicity with thrilling entertainment.

To play, subscribers dial *400# on their Glo line or send their chosen number by SMS to 400. Each entry costs ₦100, and players can either subscribe daily or play on demand whenever they wish.

In a statement released in Lagos, Globacom described Glo Play Up as more than just a game — a platform to inspire joy, hope, and new beginnings.

“We understand the optimism and adventurous spirit of Nigerians. People love to play, dream and hope for that one big win.

Glo Play Up is our way of making that dream more accessible — simple to play, affordable, and truly rewarding,” the company said.

According to Globacom, weekly draws will be held every Friday at 4 p.m. at its Head Office, where ten lucky winners will each receive ₦1 million.

One player will also emerge monthly with a grand prize of ₦10 million. Winners will be celebrated at their nearest Glo regional office, and cash prizes will be credited directly to their MoneyMaster Wallet accounts.

The company explained that Glo Play Up combines entertainment and empowerment, reflecting Globacom’s ongoing drive to innovate, connect, and enrich the lives of its customers.
