‘Going local’ Party uses charms as protection against posters vandalism in Ondo

As the gubernatorial election in Ondo State hots between the two main contenders on the platforms of All Progressive Congress, APC and People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Rotimi Akeredolu and Eyitayo Jegede respectively, reports of vandalism have started filtering in.

In order to stem this tide, party loyalists are busy employing all means possible to protect their property and ensure maximum publicity for their desired candidates.

An example is video making a trip round social media, where group of people believed to be PDP party members were seen raining curses of vandals for tearing down posters and banners of Jegede and his running mate, Gboluga Ikengboju.
