Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, has hailed the visit of Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), as a spiritual blessing for the state. Pastor Adeboye was in Ilogbo Ekiti for the Light up Ilogbo programme, which coincided with the church’s Let’s Go A-Fishing outreach.
In a statement after the event, Governor Oyebanji expressed gratitude for Pastor Adeboye’s prayers and prophetic words, which he believes will positively impact the state in the coming year.
He emphasized that the blessings from the visit would not only touch Ilogbo but would spread across Ekiti, bringing hope and prosperity to the people.
“This visit is a divine gift to Ekiti, especially as we approach the new year,” Governor Oyebanji said. “The light Pastor Adeboye has brought to Ilogbo will shine across the entire state, bringing good news and great blessings to us all.”
The governor also referred to the event as a timely Christmas blessing for the people of Ekiti, reinforcing the hope that the coming year will be marked by growth and positive change.
