The event was a spectacular affair, featuring a series of awards, luxury packages, and cash prizes to honour the company’s top-performing sales consultants, all dressed in striking purple.
Speaking at the convention, Healthgarde CEO, Mrs Nneka Nwarueze, reflected on the company’s journey and resilience in overcoming the economic challenges of 2024. She highlighted how adaptability and a strong team have been instrumental in sustaining growth.
“We’ve come a long way since we started five years ago,” she said.
“We’ve learned to adapt to the changing business environment, and we’re particularly proud of our team members who have demonstrated exceptional performance, leadership, and commitment to our values. We are very happy to celebrate all of them today, especially our top achievers.”
The highlight of the convention was the prestigious awards ceremony, which recognised outstanding performers across various categories.
Mariam Oboh emerged as the Business Leader of the Year and Star of Africa, earning double home-use gadgets along with a ₦500,000 cash prize.
Judith Amaogo and Bolanle Aina secured second and third place, respectively. Other top winners included Cynthia Enete, named Entrepreneur of the Year; Maryann Obi, awarded Rising Star of the Year; and Eniola Emmanuel, who received Social Media Star of 2024.
Enugu Depot was recognised as Depot of the Year, while several other consultants received accolades for excellence in recruitment, team-building, and sales performance.
The convention also featured an inspiring keynote address by Pastor Ambrose Okwugha, who urged the Healthgarde sales force to remain resilient and determined in the face of challenges. “No matter the obstacles, success comes to those who refuse to give up,” he encouraged.
When asked about the company’s biggest hurdles, Mrs Nwarueze cited an unfriendly business environment, high inflation, reduced purchasing power, and intense market competition.
However, she reaffirmed Healthgarde’s commitment to quality service and innovation.
“Despite these challenges, we’re committed to providing quality products and services to our customers. We’re also investing in local manufacturing to reduce our dependence on imported raw materials,” she stated.
The 2025 convention was not only a celebration of Healthgarde International’s success but also a testament to the transformative impact of its multilevel wellness marketing business.
