[dropcap]F[/dropcap]ormer Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Birni and Kano Municipal, Hon. Munzali Balarabe Yakasai, has officially announced his resignation from the party, citing internal injustice and leadership failure.

“From today, I have left PDP because of the injustice of the leadership and our representatives in the house,” Balarabe declared.
In a heartfelt message to party members and the people of Birni Local Government and beyond, Hon. Balarabe expressed deep appreciation for the support he received during his time as a PDP leader and sought forgiveness for any past shortcomings.
He thanked the PDP’s mother body for the platform he once enjoyed and took a moment to reflect on the responsibility he carried during his tenure.
Special recognition was extended to His Excellency Dr Yunusa Adamu Dangwani, former Kano State governorship candidate, and the leaders of the Dangwani Political Movement (DPM), signalling a likely shift in political alignment.
“By the grace of God, we will announce our destiny very soon so that we can continue our struggle as usual,” he added.

In closing, Balarabe prayed for peace and prosperity in Kano State and committed to remaining active in efforts toward justice, unity, and good governance.
