A creepy pediatrician in Mississippi has pleaded guilty to groping another doctor’s breast as she slept during a flight from New York to Memphis, court records show.

Dr. Rajesh Subramanya, who formerly worked at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford, pleaded guilty Thursday to touching the woman Sept. 29 aboard Delta Flight 3359, the Memphis Commercial Appeal reported.

The woman, a doctor who was going through her residency at the time, told FBI investigators that Subramanya grabbed her breast beneath her bra and a sweater that she used as a blanket as she slept during the flight out of LaGuardia Airport.

“[The woman] recoiled, and the male passenger used his hand to move up and down on two of her fingers in a sexual gesture,” an FBI agent wrote in an affidavit. “[The woman] pulled her hand away. The man asked if he could touch her and she said no.”

Subramanya made small talk with the woman, telling her that he was a pediatrician in Oxford. The pair exchanged phone numbers after Subramanya suggested they do so for networking purposes, the affidavit stated.

“[The woman] did so as she thought it may assist in identifying him later,” an FBI agent wrote.

FBI investigators subsequently used that number to identify Subramanya, who was arrested on Nov. 19 and admitted that he touched the woman’s breast through her clothing. But he initially claimed the victim “welcomed his touch” since she was leaning towards his seat at the time, the affidavit stated.

Subramanya, who has passports from the United Kingdom and India, agreed to return to the UK as part of his sentence, according to a court docket entry. He was also ordered to pay a $3,000 fine and serve one year of probation, the newspaper reported.

An attorney for Subramanya declined to comment when reached early Tuesday by The Post.

Subramanya, who graduated from medical school in India, is no longer working at the hospital in Oxford, a spokeswoman for Baptist Memorial Health Care told the Commercial Appeal.

Lagos tow fine scandal raises outrage as motorists are asked to pay N100,000 into a private firm’s account, sparking concerns over transparency Q uestions have been raised following a growing Lagos tow fine scandal that exposed motorists being asked to pay hefty fines into a privately owned account. The controversy began when a Toyota Highlander without a number plate was seized and fined N100,000. Shockingly, the fine was directed into a Keystone Bank account belonging to Waoh Global Logistics Services, a private firm. The ticket, which referenced the Transport Sector Reform Law & Regulations 2018, contained glaring errors including the word “paid” misspelt as “pais.” No specific offence was listed on the document. Further scrutiny showed a revenue code (4080023), agency code (4390000) and a payment ID (C-1114875) inscribed, while the enforcement officer identified only as Afeez instructed the vehicle owner to “remove all valuables.” Investigations revealed Waoh Global Logistics Services was only incorporated on 9 October 2024 with RC 7992794, less than a year before this fine, raising serious transparency concerns.
