The embattled chairman of Ijebu East local government, Wale Adedayo, has shared updates of his movements as he allegedly heads to the Ogun State governor’s office in Oke Mosan.
Recall that Adedayo recently called out the governor, Dapo Abiodun, over his nonremittance of local government allocations to the third tier of government.
Earlier, there were also moves to impeach him while his colleagues had gone on their bellies in a viral video to plead with the governor to forgive them as the father he is to them.
However, Adedayo insists that he is elected to serve the people and demands for accountability from the governor as far as local government affairs are concerned.
In a leaked message, he listed what he has been facing so far.
“I’ve been summoned to Abeokuta for a meeting with the SSG (Tokunbo Talabi), possibly with Mr. Governor too. I’m on my way there now,” he wrote.
