In a bid to contribute his quota in community development and as a form of corporate social responsibility, the CEO of Bobby’s Place, a popular hotel and bar in Ikorodu, Prince Femi Odulaja, fondly called Femostika, has single-handedly fixed a bad portion of the road in Ikorodu local government.
A resident of the local government himself, Prince Odulaja took it upon himself to reconstruct a deteriorating portion of a road along Akin Atoloye Street, directly opposite F1 Bar, Ebute Ikorodu.
The serial entrepreneur believed that the development of one’s immediate community should be the responsibility of every members of such community.
“It is true that we can rely on government to fix some of these things for us, but we also as responsible members of the community can also help where we could in order to prevent public properties from deteriorating.
“Yes, we always demand that government should be up and doing in its responsibilities to the people but the spirit of maintenance culture must also reside in us as citizens.
“A look at this road on Akin Atoloye Street will show you there is need for urgent intervention and therefore I took the proactive measure in ensuring that motorists continue to enjoy free flow of traffic on that axis,” Prince Odulaja said.
Aside from being an entrepreneur in the hospitality sector, Femostika is also a prominent politician with an aspiration to represent Ijebu Central Federal Constituency at the Nigerian national assembly.
