In response to recent fraud allegations made by Kayode Oladipo against RevolutionPlus Property Company, the real estate company has issued a statement disputing the accusations and providing evidence to counter Oladipo’s claims.

Recall that Oladipo recently went viral over video he shared accusing CEO of RevolutionPlus, Bamidele Onalaja, of duping him a sum of N40million naira.

In a statement made available to Freelanews by the real estate company, the Lagos State Government (LASG) intervened in the matter, conducting a meeting with relevant officials and stakeholders.

The meeting, held on Friday, 19th January 2024, at the office of the Lagos State Real Estate Regulatory Authority (LASRERA) in Alausa, included the Commissioner for Housing, Moruf Akinderu Fatai, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Housing, Barakat Odunuga Bakare, the Permanent Secretary of the Lagos State Ministry of Housing, LASRERA officials, and RevolutionPlus Property Development Company’s CEO, among others.

During the mediation, Oladipo admitted that he had not paid the alleged sum of N40 million but rather N18 million, which the company disputed with evidence, revealing a payment of N16,752,000.

Oladipo further acknowledged his initial purchase of land in 2017 and his job loss, leading to financial challenges. Onalaja, empathized with Oladipo’s situation and explained the penalties for default in payment.

To resolve the matter, the company offered alternative land in its Amazon Estate, Epe, equivalent to the amount Oladipo had paid.

The Commissioner for Housing appealed for peace, leading to an agreement that Oladipo would retract his fraud allegations in a video, appreciating the Lagos State Government’s intervention.

While waiting for Oladipo’s video retraction, RevolutionPlus Property expressed appreciation for the government’s mediation and the support of its customers during the dispute. The company emphasized its commitment to service, customer satisfaction, and operating within the legal framework.
